Damian Rawcliffe
Damian Rawcliffe’s personal history gives him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of conflict and conflict management at its most intense.
Joining the British Army in 1994, he has served with the Royal Green Jackets Light Infantry and The Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit, where he received extensive training in conflict management, control and restraint, personnel safety planning.
After leaving the Forces, Damian worked in the Republic of Georgia training The Ministry of Interior Protection Police in close protection and control and restraint skills.
When this contract was completed, he worked as a close protection operator in Baghdad for two years with the US State Department where he continued various training and operational appointments.
Damian returned to the UK in December 2005, and has complemented his extensive military training and experience with several academic qualifications to give unrivalled insight into conflict management and training.
The knowledge and experience Damian has gained whilst working to protect others can now be utilised to help people increase their own level of awareness and improve their knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours to increase their safety at work through competent training and policy guidance.
