Pathways Through Trauma support individuals and groups after a traumatic incident has occurred.

Service delivery includes:

Pathways Through Trauma work closely with organisations to ensure that lines of communication are kept open, both during and following a traumatic incident. Whilst working within the boundaries of confidentiality, we will update managers as regards progress made and work with appropriate partners such as HR and occupational health specialists. By being more informed, you can better monitor and support the staff affected by the incident, thus allowing you to effectively manage company resources by improved business planning and decision making.

Pathways Through Trauma have proven national expertise to deal with a range of trauma reactions, including the effective treatment of post traumatic stress disorder. Your staff can quickly access specialist trauma support services, thus leading to more rapid recovery. You can be confident that your staff are receiving the best possible care, in line with national guidelines, and that their recovery from the incident is well managed. We can also respond to major incidents, such as environmental disasters, multi-casualty incidents and acts of terrorism.

Training

We offer specialised training to mental health professionals and to companies who may have to deal with traumatic incidents which occur in the workplace. We also provide resilience training to groups whose employment brings them into contact with people who are in crisis or suffering from traumatic stress. Our 3 day course on Critical Incident Stress Management is accredited by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
